Hi Everyone, It's Margaret Wallis Duffy And I'm Super Excited to be coming to You Today On PHAM's Healthy Baby And Children's Day,

As a Registered Massage Therapist and an Internationally Certified Infant Massage Instructor with three decades of clinical experience, I want to discuss the benefits and techniques of baby massage and how it can positively impact a baby's growth and development.

It is important to understand a baby's body language and cues so that you can appropriately respond to their cues during a massage. It is critically important to recognize that there is a difference between giving massage with the baby, not to the baby in order to build trust and empower the child.

Check out the video for practical and effective tips on when and how to massage a baby, including choosing the right massage oil. Although a comprehensive baby massage program can be hours long, today I am going to get you started by demonstrating some of the basic leg massage techniques and discusses the use of massage for gas, colic, and teething.

I love to layer tips and tools and will introduce you to some effective tools and techniques, such as homeopathic remedies and the Kahlmi, a researched vibrating device, to enhance the benefits of baby massage.

Baby massage grows with your baby and can have long-term benefits on your children's health and well-being.
